Accommodations
Booking Guide
We wanted to provide some additional tips and tricks for booking your accommodations
at the Millcroft Inn & Spa, as there are different buildings with different room
choices and varying features.
For the comfort of all family and friends attending, please be mindful of the following
when selecting your accommodations.
1. The Main House
This is the only building with wheelchair/accessibility-designed rooms. It is also
the main building where the wedding will be held.
We have a few guests who will require ramp and elevator access to their rooms and
proximity to the wedding events. Please only book this room type if you have limited
mobility.
2. The Crofts
This is the only building with room for parties of more than two people. Please only
book this room type if you are attending with children who need to be in the room
with you and require an additional bed or additional space.
3. The Manor House
This building has oversized rooms and larger beds. Please book this room type if you
have no mobility issues and do not have children attending who require supervision.
All accommodation types are a short, approximately five-minute walk from the venue
and the other accommodation buildings.
There is a restaurant on site, and we have been advised that food delivery is available
from Alton.
How Long Are People Staying?
Many have inquired as to how long others plan on staying on site. This varies greatly,
as some guests live close by whereas others are travelling from outside Ontario or
internationally.
To give you a sense of some timelines:
Terrance and Jenn will be staying at the Millcroft from
Monday, December 28 to Saturday, January 2.
Some GTA-area guests have indicated that they will stay December 31 only, or are
attending the wedding and travelling home the same day.
Out-of-province guests have indicated they will likely travel
December 29 to January 1.
For our local GTA guests, please consider spending the night. First of all, we would
love the opportunity to visit longer and share a glass of champagne (or two!).
As well, given that it will be New Year's Eve, we strongly recommend staying off
the roads.
